Comment: Stealing is a problem because the items that are being stolen are owned and belong to someone or belong to a store. If they are being stolen from stores, they don’t get the money the items would have brought if they were bought. As a result, companies lose money. Stealing can lead to the victim doing something bad out of anger or steal revenge. If someone steals and gets caught, they will get in big trouble, especially if the item is expensive. For example, there was a man that broke into an officer's house and stole a gun and other items. The robber was caught and is in jail now. Stealing is a bad crime and it shouldn’t be done.

For example, “The Dutch Supreme Court upheld the theft conviction of a youth who stole another boy's possessions in the popular online fantasy game, ordering the offender to perform 144 hours of community service.” This shows that stealing have an effect on youth and stealing is a horrible thing.

Comment: Black on black crime is an issue in our society. Black on black crime is when the
same race is doing harm to each other. Many times blacks fight or kill each other to show that they have power or to gain respect. There are 67 percent of murders each year, also 30 percent of americans own a gun. This is a problem because black on black crime has gone to far because usually an unintended target is struck or killed. For example, Hadiyah Pendelton was a high schooler with good grades and never tardy. She was shot by a black person because they thought that she was a gangbanger just because she had a hooded black jacket. This is a perfect example of an innocent person losing their life.

People need to learn that violence doesn’t solve anything. Violence this a major problem that needs to be fixed and it needs to be fixed now. Everyday there is a new story on the news. For example, a girl named Endia Martin who is 14 got shot and was killed instantly over a boy on facebook. The girl that shot Endia got the gun from her 25 year old uncle. The sad thing is that the girl that shot Endia use to be her close friend. Not only are the males killing one another but now females are doing the same thing. This senseless act needs to stop!

Comment: People really need to stop crimes because it affects others. It’s usually the people who are addicted to drugs or have a mental illness. A 14 year-old has an Anxiety Disorder which makes her feel stressed out, she has been in juvy 3 times. She is not the only one though 70% of juvy kids have at least 1 mental disorder. People 18 and older go to jail and if they do they have a limited amount of jobs they can work at. That may learn them a lesson but 77% of people that are let out of jail are brought back in after 5 years.

Comment:Today I read an article about a shootout at a militia checkpoint in eastern Ukraine. This shootout left at least 3 people dead. I thought this was a very depressing and aggravating article. It was depressing because many people died or got wounded in the shootout, and it was aggravating because there is too much violence in the world. This article shows key details and specific information, which is very important for me. For example in the text it says “ The checkout, near the town of Slavyansk, had been manned by separatists in and around the Donetsk region, where separatists have occupied administrative buildings for the past week”.I would recommend this article to someone for an example of stopping violence.Overall this article was very informative and resourceful.

Comment: Shooting, fist to fist combat other ways to be killed are a problem. This is a problem because people are dying, and their family’s get upset, because the more of their family members die the shorter their family gets. Also when you kill someone elses relative they would want revenge on the one who killed their loved one. So if someone kills their relative they will kill yours, then the violence will just continue. Criminal Justice could lead to parents killing their own children. It can also lead to sexsually harassing people. This is one of the biggest problems that people have.

I think that you are right about gun violence. It has gone to far and innocent people are getting killed for exactly no reason. For example , every single week a little baby, a child or an adult is killed and it usually pops up on the news. One solution I have to stop gun violence is to have people protest about why gun violence is not right . They could also go door to door and ask people if they have been a victim of gun violence or have ever caused gun violence(someone getting killed).

There was recently a three people killing in Kansas. They took in suspects but they did not say the names of the victims or the suspect. But the family released the names of the victims. A christian family had two people killed. William Corporon father of Will Corporon and Will’s nephew Reat Underwood were both killed. The other person was a lady found in a parking lot.
The first shooting was at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City, in Overland Park,Kan., and the second at Village Shalom, a retirement home nearby. The suspect (a beard man in his 70s, not from Kansas) went to the Jewish Community Center and opened at people in the parking lot. Two men were killed there. One immediately died, but the other died in the hospital.
The gunfire erupted at the community center as hundreds of people were auditioning singing scholarship. Also people were rehearsing for a production (To Kill a Mockingbird).
Minutes later, the police got a call of another shooting at Village Shalom. One woman was found dead in the parking lot. The gunman fired at two other people but missed. They were both unharmed. People say the gunman used a shotgun for his victims at the Jewish Community Center. And might have used a handgun when he missed his target. But still do not know what type of gun was used at the retirement home.
Later on after the shootings, the police blanketed the area and found the suspect. The suspect was in the parking lot of a nearby elementary school, where he was arrested.

I agree with your post, stealing shouldn’t be done. If someone wants something they should buy it, not take it. Stealing is just encouraging other people steal. Even if after stealing you just get caught and go to jail. For example a man in Gloucester County was accused of stealing money from a church. This money was meant for the needy. When the church told the police, the police found the man counting money and putting it in his pant’s pocket. This is wrong, especially since it was from a church and it was going to the needy. We need to stop people like this.

Comment: I think that this woman should not have done this because she has a lot of influential power on little kids that were watching the scene. You could easily be caught in the process if you decided to do this. This creates a cycle of innocent bystanders later deciding to do the same. This is only stopped when crime is stopped.

Comment: Stealing is when you take something that doesn’t belong to you and you don’t return it. Stealing hurts the person who you steal from, it also hurts the person who stole the object. Stealing things is never worth it. Stealing can have an affect from older people to younger people. Stealing can damage your trust that people have in you. People should not steal or let people persuade you to steal. Working for something is much more rewarding than stealing.

Comment:I read a book called Hold Fast by Blue Balliett. In it was a poor family and they were robbed of everything they they owned. They were mad, sad and poorer than they already were. They were forced to go to a shelter. I believe no one should have to go through the feeling of losing everything you own and the feeling of sadness and madness that you couldn’t protect your belongings. It is a bad feeling to be robbed, it makes you feel like the world hates you and makes you want to hate it back. Stealing is something bad that happens and should be prevented because it can hurt people in many ways.

Gino Angotti was shot and killed. Another guy was shot before him. Half an hour later Gino was killed. They were less than three-hundred feet away from each other. He was a father of three kids. They were three, one and nine months. Gino was killed after just taking his kids to daycare. The police said it was definitely a gang. They even took his keys and his wallet with all his money in it. It was horrible. He was killed for doing something kind for his kids. His sister said he did a lot for his children. Gino’s death was so sad.

Comment: Recently I studied more facts on Drinking and drinking. DUI offenders with a legal way to drive, most will obey the law, thus protecting the public safety and themselves. In contrast, under license suspension, many or most of the same types of serious DUI offenders (with no legal way to drive) will continue to drive and frequently will do so intoxicated.” AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety. This is saying that most people will that have their licenses have a higher rate of not drinking and driving than so without their licenses. “Drunken drivers drive

Comment: In an article I read, it said 10 people including a 13 year old were accused of stealing 300 iPads and over $100,000 worth of Apple accessories including keyboards. One of the suspects hid out by his apartment but abandoned the three iPads when he saw the police. This shows that almost anyone can get caught when they do something bad. No one should do this because they will get caught and get in trouble, sometimes very severely.

Comment: People really need to stop crimes because it affects others. It’s usually the people who are addicted to drugs or have a mental illness. A 14 year-old has an Anxiety Disorder which makes her feel stressed out, she has been in juvy 3 times. She is not the only one though 70% of juvy kids have at least 1 mental disorder. People 18 and older go to jail and if they do they have a limited amount of jobs they can work at. That may learn them a lesson but 77% of people that are let out of jail are brought back in after 5 years.

Comment:Today I read an article about a shootout at a militia checkpoint in eastern Ukraine. This shootout left at least 3 people dead. I thought this was a very depressing and aggravating article. It was depressing because many people died or got wounded in the shootout, and it was aggravating because there is too much violence in the world. This article shows key details and specific information, which is very important for me. For example in the text it says “ The checkout, near the town of Slavyansk, had been manned by separatists in and around the Donetsk region, where separatists have occupied administrative buildings for the past week”.I would recommend this article to someone for an example of stopping violence.Overall this article was very informative and resourceful.

Comment: Shooting, fist to fist combat other ways to be killed are a problem. This is a problem because people are dying, and their family’s get upset, because the more of their family members die the shorter their family gets. Also when you kill someone elses relative they would want revenge on the one who killed their loved one. So if someone kills their relative they will kill yours, then the violence will just continue. Criminal Justice could lead to parents killing their own children. It can also lead to sexsually harassing people. This is one of the biggest problems that people have.

I think that you are right about gun violence. It has gone to far and innocent people are getting killed for exactly no reason. For example , every single week a little baby, a child or an adult is killed and it usually pops up on the news. One solution I have to stop gun violence is to have people protest about why gun violence is not right . They could also go door to door and ask people if they have been a victim of gun violence or have ever caused gun violence(someone getting killed).

There was recently a three people killing in Kansas. They took in suspects but they did not say the names of the victims or the suspect. But the family released the names of the victims. A christian family had two people killed. William Corporon father of Will Corporon and Will’s nephew Reat Underwood were both killed. The other person was a lady found in a parking lot.
The first shooting was at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City, in Overland Park,Kan., and the second at Village Shalom, a retirement home nearby. The suspect (a beard man in his 70s, not from Kansas) went to the Jewish Community Center and opened at people in the parking lot. Two men were killed there. One immediately died, but the other died in the hospital.
The gunfire erupted at the community center as hundreds of people were auditioning singing scholarship. Also people were rehearsing for a production (To Kill a Mockingbird).
Minutes later, the police got a call of another shooting at Village Shalom. One woman was found dead in the parking lot. The gunman fired at two other people but missed. They were both unharmed. People say the gunman used a shotgun for his victims at the Jewish Community Center. And might have used a handgun when he missed his target. But still do not know what type of gun was used at the retirement home.
Later on after the shootings, the police blanketed the area and found the suspect. The suspect was in the parking lot of a nearby elementary school, where he was arrested.

I agree with your post, stealing shouldn’t be done. If someone wants something they should buy it, not take it. Stealing is just encouraging other people steal. Even if after stealing you just get caught and go to jail. For example a man in Gloucester County was accused of stealing money from a church. This money was meant for the needy. When the church told the police, the police found the man counting money and putting it in his pant’s pocket. This is wrong, especially since it was from a church and it was going to the needy. We need to stop people like this.

Comment: I think that this woman should not have done this because she has a lot of influential power on little kids that were watching the scene. Comment:I read a book called Hold Fast by Blue Balliett. In it was a poor family and they were robbed of everything they they owned. They were mad, sad and poorer than they already were. They were forced to go to a shelter. I believe no one should have to go through the feeling of losing everything you own and the feeling of sadness and madness that you couldn’t protect your belongings. It is a bad feeling to be robbed, it makes you feel like the world hates you and makes you want to hate it back. Stealing is something bad that happens and should be prevented because it can hurt people in many ways.

Gino Angotti was shot and killed. Another guy was shot before him. Half an hour later Gino was killed. They were less than three-hundred feet away from each other. He was a father of three kids. They were three, one and nine months. Gino was killed after just taking his kids to daycare. The police said it was definitely a gang. They even took his keys and his wallet with all his money in it. It was horrible. He was killed for doing something kind for his kids. His sister said he did a lot for his children. Gino’s death was so sad.

This is saying that most people will that have their licenses have a higher rate of not drinking and driving than so without their licenses. “Drunken drivers drive
drunk 200 to 2,000 times before they get arrested. This is saying that majority of people die and get arrested from drinking and driving alone and also much damage is done.

Comment: In an article I read, it said 10 people including a 13 year old were accused of stealing 300 iPads and over $100,000 worth of Apple accessories including keyboards. One of the suspects hid out by his apartment but abandoned the three iPads when he saw the police. This shows that almost anyone can get caught when they do something bad. No one should do this because they will get caught and get in trouble, sometimes very severely.
